Create accessories
How to create accessories in Slotlify
In Slotlify, you can create accessories that customers can book or use in addition to a service. This is useful when your offers require specific equipment.
A typical example: you offer tennis training. Some customers may not have their own tennis equipment. In this case, you can create accessories such as tennis rackets or balls and later connect them to the matching service.
This makes your offer more complete, and your customers can see directly which accessories are available.
Open the accessories section
To create a new accessory, first open your dashboard.
Then go to:
Services > Accessories > + Add new
The page “Create new accessory” will open. Here you can enter all important information about the accessory.
Activate or deactivate the accessory
At the top of the page, you will find the option “Accessory active”.
If this option is enabled, the accessory is visible to customers and can be used.
If you deactivate the accessory, it will not be visible to customers. This is helpful if a specific accessory is temporarily unavailable, for example because it is being repaired, cleaned, or only available in limited quantity.
Upload an accessory image
In the Accessory image section, you can upload an image for the accessory.
Drag the image file into the upload area or click the area to select a file from your computer.
An image helps your customers recognize the accessory more easily. This is especially useful if you offer different versions or similar items.
Use a clear image. The file may be up to 1 MB in size.
Enter the accessory name
In the Accessory name field, enter the name of the accessory.
Examples:
- Tennis racket
- Tennis balls
- Yoga mat
- Towel
- Protective equipment
The name is required. Without a name, the accessory cannot be created.
Set the price
In the Price field, you can enter how much the accessory costs. This is useful, for example, if customers should rent or book the accessory in addition to the service.
Enter the quantity
In the Quantity field, enter how many items of this accessory are available.
Example: If you have 10 tennis rackets available, enter 10 here.
The quantity helps you manage availability more clearly. This way, you can avoid more accessories being booked than you actually have available.
Add a description
In the Description field, you can add more information about the accessory.
For example, you can explain:
- what the accessory is used for
- whether it is suitable for beginners or advanced customers
- whether there are specific sizes, versions, or notes
- when customers should choose this accessory
Example:
This tennis racket can be booked in addition to tennis training. It is especially suitable for beginners and casual players who do not bring their own equipment.
The description helps your customers understand whether the accessory is right for them.
Save the accessory
Once you have entered all information, click “Create accessory”.
The accessory will then be saved and will be available for the next setup steps.
You can then connect it to a matching service so customers can select it during booking.
Cancel the entry
If you do not want to create the accessory after all, click “Cancel”.
In this case, your entries will not be saved and you will return to the previous section.
Why accessories are important
Accessories make your offers more flexible and complete. Not every customer brings their own equipment. When you create accessories directly in Slotlify, you can make them visible, manage them, and later connect them to suitable services.
This way, your customers already know during booking which accessories are available and which additional costs may apply.
