How to create difficulty levels in Slotlify

In Slotlify, you can create difficulty levels and assign them to your services. This allows your customers to see before booking whether an offer matches their current level.

This is especially useful for courses, training sessions, workshops, or other offers where previous experience or certain skills are important.

A difficulty level can be called, for example, Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Pro, Level 1, Level 2, or Intensive.

Why difficulty levels are useful

Difficulty levels help your customers choose the right offer. Someone who is just starting can find a beginner course more easily. Customers with more experience can look specifically for advanced offers.

For you as a provider, this is useful as well: you can organize groups more clearly and avoid having participants with very different levels in the same course.

This helps you create groups with a similar level. It makes the session easier to run, improves the customer experience, and creates more clarity during booking.

Open the difficulty levels section

To create a new difficulty level, first open your dashboard.

Then go to:

Services > Difficulty levels > + Add new

The page “Create new difficulty level” will open. Here you can enter the title of the difficulty level.

Enter the difficulty level title

In the Difficulty level title field, enter the name of the level.

Examples:

• Beginner
• Intermediate
• Advanced
• Pro
• Level 1
• Level 2

The title is required. Without a title, the difficulty level cannot be created.

It is best to choose a short and clear name. Your customers should immediately understand which level the offer is intended for.

Save the difficulty level

Once you have entered the title, click “Create difficulty level”.

The difficulty level will then be saved and will be available when you continue setting up your services.

You can then assign it to suitable services. When events or courses are created from these services later, your customers can better understand whether the offer is suitable for them.

Cancel the entry

If you do not want to create the difficulty level after all, click “Cancel”.

In this case, your entry will not be saved and you will return to the previous section.

Use difficulty levels later

After you have created your difficulty levels, you can select them when creating or editing your services.

For example, you can define a yoga course as suitable for beginners, assign a tennis training session to an intermediate level, or mark an intensive workout as intended for advanced participants.

This makes your offers easier to understand and helps your customers make the right choice faster.
